Acceptance

By accessing DataLane, you agree to these terms. If you disagree with any part, please don't use the site.

Content and license

All articles are the property of DataLane unless otherwise noted. You may quote short excerpts with attribution and a link to the original article. Republishing full articles without written permission is not allowed.

Code snippets in tutorials are provided under the MIT license — use them freely in your own projects, at your own risk.

No professional advice

Content is provided for educational purposes and reflects our experience at the time of writing. It is not professional, financial, or legal advice. Cloud pricing, APIs, and vendor behavior change — always verify against official documentation before making decisions.

Sponsored and affiliate content

Some content is sponsored or contains affiliate links, always labeled as such. See our disclosure anddisclaimer pages.

Accounts

Google and GitHub sign-in are optional. Email/password accounts are stored in your browser, not on a DataLane user database. Do not reuse a password you use for email or banking. You can delete the local session with Sign out or by clearing site data.

Acceptable use

Do not use the contact form to send malware, credential-harvesting pages, or bulk unsolicited mail. Automated scraping that ignores robots.txt or overwhelms the host is not allowed. The SQL coding sandbox runs only in your browser; do not treat it as a place to store secrets.

You may not use DataLane to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Infringe any third-party intellectual property rights
  • Transmit unsolicited commercial communications
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site or its infrastructure
  • Reverse-engineer or decompile any proprietary software used by this site

Intellectual property

The DataLane name, logo, and all original written content are the exclusive property of the site author. All rights are reserved except as explicitly noted above. The site's trade dress, design, and layout may not be reproduced without prior written permission.

DMCA and copyright claims

If you believe content on this site infringes your copyright, send a written notice tosrinivasa8511@gmail.com that includes:

  • Your full name and contact information
  • A description of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed
  • The URL of the allegedly infringing material
  • A good-faith statement that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf
  • Your physical or electronic signature

We will respond promptly and remove or disable access to infringing material where appropriate. Counter-notices may be submitted under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g).

Third-party services

DataLane uses third-party services including Google Analytics (where configured), Google AdSense (where configured), FormSubmit (contact form delivery), GitHub OAuth, and Google OAuth. Use of those services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these third parties.

Links to external sites

We may link to external websites for reference. We do not endorse and are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of any linked site. Affiliate links are always disclosed.

Limitation of liability

DataLane is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of this site or the code and guidance it contains, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DataLane and its author from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the site, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from or relating to these terms or your use of the site shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of India.

Changes to these terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
